This application was from a citizen of Germany, who transferred 26 thousand EURO to his future fiancee from Ioshkar Ola for organizing of a personal meeting. But a woman did not come for the dating and did not give the money back. Later it was turned out that at the picture, which was sent to the fiance from Germany by email, there was a famous Russian ballet dancer.

Having checked the information, the staff of a department “K” by the Ministry of Inner Affairs of Republic Mariy L ascertained that corresponding through the Internet with foreigners was carried from so called “office”, well-equipped in one of the flats in Ioshkar Ola, where seven participants of OCG were caught. At the same time there were established the organizers’ of criminal business and deliberate criminal assistants’ identities – the girls with good knowledge of English language, specialized in telephone talks with “fiances” from abroad.

Investigation office of Inner Affairs Department in Ioshkar Ola instituted criminal proceedings according to corpus delicti, provided by Part 3 of the Article 159 of the Criminal Code of Russian Federation (CC RF) (swindle, conducted by an organized group). A citizen from Germany is declared a victim, investigation is continued.
